Terms of Sale
These Terms of Sale govern the purchase of Informational Yoga. The Beginning, a digital publication sold on this website. Please read them before you buy — completing a purchase means you accept them.
1. Who you are buying from
The publication is published and sold by ФОП Адамів-Костишин Богдан Олександрович, ІПН 2911110839 · Україна · 79014, м. Львів, вул. Грушева, 1.5 — a sole proprietor (ФОП) registered in Ukraine. In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean that entity, and "you" means the person buying.
These Terms took effect on the date shown at the top of this page and are the version published on this website. Written notices to us may be sent to the support address on our Contact page.
2. Paddle is the merchant of record
Payment is not taken by us. Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle") acts as the merchant of record and authorised reseller for every purchase made through this website. When you buy, the payment transaction is concluded with Paddle, and Paddle appears as the seller on your card or bank statement.
In practice this means:
- Paddle takes the payment, issues the payment receipt and holds the payment details. We never see or store your card number.
- Paddle calculates, collects and remits any sales tax or VAT due on the transaction.
- Paddle’s own buyer terms and privacy notice govern the payment side of your purchase, alongside these Terms.
- An approved refund is returned by Paddle to the original payment method (see our Refund Policy).
Paddle is the merchant of record for every purchase taken through this website as these Terms stand. This clause describes the arrangement actually in use, not one of several possible ones: if the merchant of record ever changes, this page, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy are updated to name the new one, with a new effective date, before any purchase is taken through it. A purchase you have already made is governed by the version of these Terms published when you made it (see section 14), so a later change can never rewrite who sold to you.
We remain responsible for the publication itself: what is delivered to you, whether the files work, and the licence you receive to read them.
3. What is sold on this website
This website sells one thing: the digital publication Informational Yoga. The Beginning. It is offered in three language editions — English, Ukrainian and Russian — each of which is the same book in a different language, and each of which is delivered as both an EPUB file and a PDF file.
Nothing else is sold, offered or promised here. There is no service component, no continuing arrangement, no human instruction, and no other product available on this domain.
4. Price, currency and tax
- Every edition is priced identically at $12.99 USD, one time, in every market. No other price exists on this website.
- A checkout is limited to one copy. There is no volume, bundle or upgrade pricing.
- The price shown on the storefront is exclusive of any sales tax or VAT that Paddle is required to collect in your country. The full amount payable, including any such tax, is shown to you on the Paddle checkout before you confirm.
- If your card is denominated in another currency, your bank may convert the amount and may add its own fee. That conversion is between you and your bank.
5. A single one-time purchase
This is a single one-time purchase. Your payment method is charged once, at the moment you buy. There is no recurring charge, no renewal, no automatic re-billing and no continuing payment obligation of any kind arising from a purchase made on this website. Nothing here will ever charge you a second time unless you deliberately make a second purchase.
6. Delivery
The publication is delivered digitally and immediately. Nothing is shipped, and there is no delivery charge.
- You enter your email address on the Paddle checkout as part of paying.
- Paddle sends you a payment receipt for the transaction.
- We send a separate email to that same address containing a sign-in link to your download page. That link can be used once and is valid for a short period, for security reasons.
- If it expires before you use it, write to the support address on our Contact page and we will send you a fresh one. Be aware that this is a person doing it, not a button on this website: there is no self-service "resend my link" on this website today, so allow for a reply from a person rather than expecting a fresh link to arrive in seconds. An expired link is never a lost purchase, and it is never a reason to be charged again.
- From the download page you can download the edition you bought as EPUB and as PDF. Individual download links are time-limited and are regenerated each time you sign in. An expired link never means a lost purchase — your purchase is recorded against your email address, and we will always get you back to your files, by hand if a fresh sign-in link has to be sent.
If delivery fails and we cannot put it right, that is a refund ground under our Refund Policy. Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank — a delivery problem is almost always something we can fix within a day.
7. Your licence to use the publication
You are buying a licence to read the publication, not ownership of it. Copyright in the text, the cover and the layout remains with the author.
What the licence allows
- A personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to read the edition you bought, for as long as you keep it.
- Keeping copies of the files on the devices you personally use, and making a personal backup.
- Quoting short passages, with attribution, as permitted under applicable copyright law.
What the licence does not allow
- Reselling, renting, sub-licensing or otherwise distributing the files, in whole or in part.
- Uploading the files to a file-sharing service, a public archive, a lending platform or any other place where people who have not bought the publication can obtain them.
- Removing or altering any copyright notice, authorship credit or edition identifier in the files.
- Reproducing substantial extracts in a commercial work, or producing a translation or derivative work, without our written permission.
- Using the publication as input to text-and-data mining, or to train, fine-tune or evaluate a machine-learning model.
8. Who may buy
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in the country where you live if that is higher, to buy on this website. No account with us is required in order to buy; an account is created for you only so that you have somewhere to sign in and download what you paid for.
9. Refunds and the right to withdraw
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Because the publication is a digital file delivered to you immediately, your statutory right to withdraw from the purchase is addressed there — please read it before buying.
10. Availability, corrections and withdrawal from sale
- We may correct, revise or re-issue an edition. Where we publish a corrected file of an edition you already bought, you may download it at no extra cost.
- We may withdraw an edition from sale at any time. Withdrawing an edition from sale does not cancel a licence already granted to someone who bought it.
- We may change the price of future purchases. A price change never affects a purchase already completed.
11. What this publication is not
The publication is educational reading material. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, it is not a substitute for professional care, and no particular outcome or result is promised or implied by the purchase. Decisions you take after reading it are your own.
12. Warranty and liability
- We warrant that the files delivered are the edition you bought, are complete, and open in commonly used EPUB and PDF readers. If they do not, tell us — that is a refund ground.
- Beyond that warranty, the files are supplied as they are. We do not warrant that they are free of every typographical error, or that they will render identically in every reader on every device.
- Our total liability arising from a purchase, on any legal basis, is limited to the amount you actually paid for it ($12.99 USD).
- Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Where you buy as a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected by anything written here.
13. Governing law, complaints and disputes
- These Terms and any purchase made under them are governed by the laws of Ukraine.
- If you buy as a consumer resident in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
- If something is wrong, please contact us first using the support address on our Contact page. We aim to answer every complaint within 5 working days and to resolve it within 10 working days.
- Payment disputes and chargebacks are handled by Paddle as merchant of record, and may also be raised with Paddle directly.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version published on this page at the moment you complete a purchase is the version that governs that purchase — a later change never alters a purchase already made. The current effective date is always shown at the top of this page.
15. General
- If any clause of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the rest of the Terms continue in force.
- A delay in enforcing a right under these Terms is not a waiver of it.
- These Terms, together with the Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy published on this website, are the whole agreement between you and us about the purchase.
